Self-referrals are welcome, or you may be referred by your G.P., psychiatrist or other health care provider.

If you would like to use your private healthcare insurance to pay for your therapy, the first step in the process is to contact your personal private medical insurance company and check that your policy covers you to receive clinical therapy. Most will agree to cover costs for an initial ten therapy sessions and later extend this depending on progress made in treatment.
You may need a referral from your G.P. depending on the terms outlined in your individual policy but this isn’t always necessary.
Your insurance company will provide you with a ‘pre-authorisation code’, which you simply pass to us when you begin treatment. We will then invoice them direct.
Certain therapies are more effective than others at treating different conditions. We would discuss which is the most appropriate to you.

Specific Psychological Conditions requiring Therapy
Typical presenting issues are stress, anxiety, relationship problems, anger-management, depression and sexual problems. Often several issues will be present at the same time.
Therapists are able to work with the majority of conditions; however, psychiatry may be more appropriate initially for conditions such as psychosis, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, schizophrenia and serious drug addiction and eating disorders.
Similarly, if you wish to consider medication, or are seeking a medical diagnosis or a medical report, then an appointment with a consultant psychiatrist would be more suitable, and we can direct you in order to arrange this.

Please contact us either by phone on 07514071824 alternately using the contact form below or by direct email email@example.com to arrange a face-to-face appointment for an initial consultation. We will invite you to meet up with a therapist at our Windsor office.
Before attending our first face-to-face meeting please click and download our ‘Client-Therapist’ contract below and read it carefully. Please then sign it and return it to us as soon as possible. It outlines our fees, confidentiality agreement and various other aspects of what is expected.
*The contract must be signed prior to our first meeting for insurance purposes.
At the initial consultation your therapist will explore your current issues, enquire about background history and establish the focus of therapy. When you first contact us, it is useful if you highlight the issues you need help with, so we can match you with the most suitable therapist. We would then agree upon the type of treatment and therapy most suitable for your needs is and discuss a mutually agreeable schedule for appointments.
The one hour assessment session can be provided in person over phone or Skype if required.
* Please note the initial consultation fee of £80 is payable up front
If having had the initial consultation we both feel happy that therapy is likely to be of use to you then we will make a commitment to engage in treatment. Therapy sessions are usually weekly and are fifty minutes to an hour in length. It is part of my practice to offer a review session after the eighth session where we can discuss whether you feel you are benefiting from the work.
If you have self-referred, the basic fee for each therapy session is £80-£100 per hour, (single therapy dependant on form of treatment CBT or EMDR/unsociable hours such as weekends) Weekend and evening hours maybe charged at a slightly higher rate.
Lower cost fees may be available to the client's when longer than 15 sessions are needed.
As stated, the initial consultation fee is payable up front and subsequent session fees are payable at the end of the consultation.
We are able to accept payment by card, cash or bank transfer.
Individual sessions can be cancelled with no charge up until 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We can discuss a re-arranged session later. Cancellations within 24 hours before session will be charge half-price of the pre-agreed fee.
Full price will be charged for non-attended and non- cancelled sessions
