It’s often a very good idea to access private healthcare insurance to pay for your therapy. Please check that your policy covers you to receive therapy.
Most Insurers will agree to cover costs for an initial set number of sessions but later can extend this depending on progress made in treatment.
In some cases you may need a referral from your G.P. depending on the terms outlined in your policy but this isn’t always necessary so please ask your Insurer first.
Your provider can also contact us on your behalf if you supply them with your chosen therapist’s provider name and number listed in boxes above and they may simply provide you with a ‘pre-

There are currently two services available at Select Healthy Mind Ltd
‘Individual Adult Therapy’ and ‘Individual Child/Adolescent Therapy (under 16)’
Before therapy can begin, please download and read through the appropriate version of the contract for the type of therapy you require (on the right). You can then sign it and return it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org before your therapy starts (to save time) or alternatively print out a physical copy, fill it in by by hand and give it to your ‘Select’ therapist before your assessment session begins. If you are unable to do either please do not worry as your therapist can provide a copy on the day. (*Please be aware she will ask you to complete it in session time)

*The contract must be signed prior to your first session to comply with out professional indemnity cover/confidentiality agreement.
During your initial consultation your Select therapist will explore your current issues, enquire about background history and establish the focus of therapy.
When you first contact us, it is useful if you highlight the issues you need most help with.
At ‘Select’ all our therapists specialise in both adult and child/adolescent therapy.
They will agree upon the type of treatment and therapy most suitable for your needs is and discuss a mutually agreeable schedule for appointments.

Please give at least 48 hours* prior notice to cancel any appointments that you are unable to attend in order not to avoid a charge. Cancellations within 48 hours* of will be charged at 50% of the agreed rate. Cancellations within 24 hours* of must be paid in full as it leaves your therapist unable to offer the time slot to another client.
